"THE LANGUAGE OF CONSERVATION" is an initiative of Poets House in partnership with the Chicago Zoological Society, Riverside Public Library, and Brookfield  Public Library, as well as a consortium of zoos and libraries nationwide. It is made possible by a National Leadership Grant from the Institution of Museum and Library Services.

Riverside Library Online Book Sale!
The Riverside Public Library is pleased to join Better World Books in breaking new ground in online bookselling. The books that the Riverside Library donates to BetterWorldBooks.com help fund high-impact literacy projects in the United States and around the world. So far, the company has converted more than 25 million donated books into $7.3 million in funding for literacy and education and has diverted more than 13,000 tons of books from landfills around the country.
In addition, the Friends of the Riverside Public Library receives a donation for every book that Riverside has contributed that is sold! Browse through our book store and see what we have today!
